The photo identification process helps TIMOCOM verify your identity. We simply need a legal identification document such as a passport or ID card that does not expire for at least three months.
The photo identification process encompasses the following steps:
- You create a Verimi account or log in to your existing account.
- Enter your full name as it appears on your ID.
- Select from one of three methods to start the identification process.
- SMS – you will receive an SMS with a link you can use on your smartphone
- Scan the QR code
- Continue on the device you are currently using (must have a camera)
- Press ‘Begin session’ to start the identification process and allow the program to access the microphone and camera.
- Take a photo of your ID as indicated and then turn the camera around to take a photo of yourself.
- Your data and photos will then be checked, and once your identity has been successfully verified, you will see a “Thank you” message on the screen of the device you used for the identification process. This confirms that your verification data has been transmitted.
- Click on ‘Continue’ (in your browser) to complete the process.
